When one is in the spotlight, considerable potential is often at his or her fingertips to promote socially redeeming projects. For Whitney Kudela, Miss International
® 2007, campaigning against drunk drivers is high on her list of worthwhile projects. Whitney won the state title of Miss Georgia International in May of 2007 and went on to compete against beautiful and accomplished women from around the world to capture the crown of Miss International
® 2007 in Chicago, Illinois at the Northshore Center for Performing Arts. She will tour the nation promoting her platform, Killers on Wheels: Drunk Driving Awareness, and the ethics of the Miss International
® Pageant.
Whitney is the 21 year old daughter of Kent and Rhonda Kudela, sister of Hayden Kudela and a native of Georgia. She is a senior at Valdosta State University where she is working toward her marketing degree. In her spare time she enjoys scrap booking, Georgia Bulldogs football, going to the beach, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
She will leverage her position as Miss International
® to increase public awareness of drunk driving issues with the help of the national organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Her wish is to use her title to make people aware of the dangers of drunk driving and to prevent further accidents and fatalities. Whitney is working with MADD to promote awareness, prevent underage drinking, and serve victims.
